The Resilient Rainbow
The Resilient Rainbow is a group therapy program for LGBTQIA+ people. Over 6 weeks, we will learn skills to understand and manage common mental health challenges for LGBTQIA+ folks:
- how growing up queer in a heterosexist world impacts our wellbeing;
- new strategies to understand and manage difficult thoughts and feelings;
- learning to challenge self-criticism and cultivate self-compassion; and
- building skills that help us face up to – rather than avoid – our most difficult challenges.
I've designed the program to be a "greatest hits" of LGBTQIA+ psychology. There will be facilitated discussions and guided exercises, as well as a bespoke workbook to complete between sessions.
